Not all handsets are repairable or are able to be unlocked. While every care is taken we cannot guarantee that we will be able to repair the fault you describe and do not accept responsibility for handsets that cannot be repaired at our repair centre.

All repairs including parts and labor have a 6 month in store Warranty. This warranty does not apply to phones that have liquid ingress or have been, in the opinion of the Phone Surgeon technicians, tampered with, or had other work either professional or otherwise, prior to or within the warranty period. Warranty does not apply to phones that have had non genuine parts installed.

The Phone Surgeon will give you notice by your preferred means of contact that the repair has been completed and you hereby authorise the Phone Surgeon to exercise a lien over the mobile telephone pending full payment of our invoice. If such payment is not made within 90 days of notice being given, the Phone Surgeon shall be at liberty to sell the mobile telephone for fair value and to apply the sale proceeds to any of our invoices to you that are unpaid.  If the mobile telephone has no saleable value, or such value is less than $50, you authorise the Phone Surgeon to dispose of the mobile telephone in the event that our invoice remains unpaid for 90 days.

The Phone Surgeon accepts no responsibility for SIM cards or memory cards left in handsets. The Repair of your goods may result in the loss of any user generated data. You should back up your data where possible before undertaking any repairs

During some procedures information may be lost from your phone including Contacts, Pictures, Wallpapers and MP3’s. The Phone Surgeon accepts no responsibility for the safety of this data.

 

 

WARRANTY: The Mobile Phone Surgeon Service warranty applies when the exact same fault occurs or the replaced component fails within 6 months of receipt of repair, with the exception of liquid damaged phones and non-genuine parts or supplied parts and physical damage to screens and components.

THE WARRANTY IS VOID: after receipt of repair if the Mobile Phone Surgeon repair warranty label is tampered in any way whatsoever, if any other party attempts to repair the phone, or if the phone has been physically/liquid damaged.

This warranty covers parts that are not fit for the stated purpose and do not do the job intended by that part. If the part is found to be faulty the Phone Surgeon will gladly replace it.

The Mobile device is returned to you in good working order and fully tested before you accept it. In signing our acknowledgement of return you are accepting the phone in good working order.

Mobile Phone screens do not break by themselves or spontaneously combust, break or otherwise get broken. At the time of collecting your phone you acknowledge that the screen is scratch, crack and defect free.

The warranty does not cover you breaking the screen whether by accident or otherwise.

LIQUID DAMAGE: Phones which are faulty due to liquid ingress will have no warranty. This covers the specific component replaced or work done. There is no warranty for the failure of any additional components at a later stage. Furthermore, due to possible progressive corrosion, The Mobile Phone Surgeon does not accept responsibility for any further faults which may have occurred during the time between the quotation and the commencement of repairs.

NON_GENUINE PARTS: Phones in which we are requested to fit an aftermarket or non-genuine parts supplied by the customer will have no warranty on the specific component replaced or work done. There is no warranty for the failure of any additional components at a later stage.

Cosmetic replaced/Repaired (eg. housing, cover, casing, lens…) will have no warranty provided.

When phones are being unlocked, no responsibility is taken for other functions of the phone. There is no warranty on unlocking. We guarantee that the phone will be unlocked; everything else is the responsible by the customer. iPhone unlocked by software patched only, please DO NOT re-software/update software/restore software, it will lock back to original network.

SUPPLIED PARTS: The Mobile Phone Surgeon does not provide any warranty for any spare parts supplied by the dealer or customer. Labour charges may apply to the removal of any faulty parts which have not been supplied by The Mobile Phone Surgeon. There is no warranty for the failure of any additional components at a later stage.

SETTINGS AND DATA: Phones may lose some or all of the user software settings and data in the phone during the process of assessment, and repair. This is generally not recoverable. The Mobile Phone Surgeon does not accepts responsibility for such loss. The Repair of your goods may result in the loss of any user generated data. You should back up your data where possible before undertaking any repairs
